Sometimes life can get a little a hectic — the workload, the meetings, juggling the family’s various activities — and you hardly have time for a jog, let alone a week off for an exotic vacation. You might even get stuck at your computer for long periods of time, for example, if you were, say, launching an adventure blog, instead of, you know, going out and experiencing said adventures.
Well. Here’s one way to take a load off. Environmental news and culture site TreeHugger (one of our sister blogs) has discovered how to pack a five-day Scandinavian cruise excursion into a mere five minutes. And it’s much a greener way to tour the seas than taking a cruise to boot. Staff writer Jaymi Heimbuch writes:
Ok. So you won’t feel the wind through your hair, eat much herring, or bring home a camera full of memories to fill up your scrapbook. But it’s a pretty cool digital excursion nonetheless — and a great escape for the duration of your coffee break.
