Artist Creates Massive "Crop Circles" in Snow (No Aliens Required)

If you are lucky enough to find some decent snow this winter, you might want to recreate these amazing Snow Drawings done by Sonja Hinrichsen. Done in freshly fallen snow, the “crop circles” were done over many days.

“These drawings are deforested areas, such as fields, meadows and pastures, as well as frozen lakes and rivers. Depending on size and density of the pieces the creation process can take anywhere between 20 minutes and several hours. The pieces are composed from one continuous line. Lately I have been creating series of similar designs, which then play together as one large piece,” says Hinrichsen.
