Kayakers, we have found your new home for watersports eye candy: Bomb Flow.
I just spent hours watching kayakers bomb down waterfalls that would make me cringe to just stand and look down, let alone run in a little tiny plastic boat. And to be honest, I’m not a kayaker, and I’ve never had the urge to go over a waterfall, regardless of the size of the boat. But I now know why someone would, and a little voice inside my head is saying, “You would totally do that if you could.”
Bomb Flow is a new magazine-style blog for the whitewater addicted, as well as anyone who enjoys the synergy of water, adrenaline, and magnificent natural settings. Here’s the video teaser for their monthly video series, so you can see what I mean:
They just released the first episode of Bomb Flow TV, two 25 minute videos featuring an incredible crew paddling Class V rivers in Chile (Carhuello, Turbio, Palguin, and Nevado), as well as travel footage and glimpses of life on the road as a world-class kayaker. The crew, known among river rats as Demshitz, is packed with both talent and irreverence, making for a fun and humorous experience. (For more on Demshitz, there’s a great piece about them over at Canoe and Kayak.)
Check out Bomb Flow at their website, Facebook, on Vimeo, and YouTube.
