Adventure deal site zozi launched a program today that lets users partake in activities led by celebrity athletes.

In the past, we’ve highlighted how zozi was a source for affordable packages to go shark diving, kayaking and crab fishing. The company prides itself on selling experiences, which it believes helps people live more fulfilled lives. The new Guru program enhances those experiences by adding a pro to the picture. These experts include Jonny Moseley, Olympic gold medal skier and X-Games silver medalist; Dean Karnazes, famous for completing 50 marathons in 50 states over 50 consecutive days; and Mireya Mayor, former NFL cheerleader and current host of “National Geographic Wild!”

“Adventure isn’t limited to just ripping down moguls, riding big waves, or scaling the world’s highest summits,” Moseley said in a statement. “It’s an attitude everyone can have – a mindset that begins with that first step into something unknown.”

Guru packages include backcountry skiing with Moseley in the Sierra Nevada mountains, an African-style safari in California’s wine country with Mayer, and running an eight-mile trail along the coast of Big Sur with Karnazes. More Gurus will be announced throughout 2012, and packages will begin at $1,000.
