Running 13 miles in itself is an impressive feat. But what about running 13 miles on a treadmill in a hot air balloon?
That’s what Rob Ginnivan did to raise awareness and money for the Heart Foundation. Surrounded by breathtaking views, Ginnivan said the experience took longer than expected because the small treadmill required him to take smaller steps. Furthermore, each step swayed the balloon creating a “sea-type motion,” he said.
The video above shows Ginnivan running a half-marathon on air.
